At his age? I just don't see many teams wanting to deal with a 31yr old wr with all his off-field issues, saying that I do think he has a better chance of signing with a team than Kaep.

The AFC, in general, is poor compared to the NFC.

AFC SB contenders ?
1.Pats
2.Chiefs

Agreed. AFC looks to be a two horse race, but possibly the best two in the NFL. The NFC, I don't know I would put money on anyone at the moment. When was Brees due back? Saint's might have the edge?

Brees is meant to be out until wk 8, but I would not be surprised if they play it safe with him and give him extended time off and have him return in week 10 vs Atlanta (after their week 9 bye)

So as expected, Jay Gruden is the first coach to get fired this season.

Yeah, I kinda liked the guy, but you can't defend him with the mess the team has become. I think we play Miami next week. If we lose to them... we're clearly the worst team in the league right now :(

Have they named an interim?

Yup, Bill Callahan is the new interim coach, and it early still but it sounds like Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy is the current favorite to be the next HC next season.
