Xperia XZ2

Post by Rich654 »

After playing with one and reading the reviews I've decied I'd like to really give one a try...

Snapdragon 845, adreno 630 and 4gb ram with nearly stock android. It's also on the P beta program as well.

The screen is a bit smaller than I'd have liked but I think the trade off for the power of the phone is worth it.

So long S9+

As you say, heard many good things about it. Will be interested to hear your thoughts.

Well I've reserved one at O2... The next black varient to come into stock is mine. Cases are a bit thin on the ground but I have a Olixar and a ringkee in my Amazon basket.

I've been using pixel launcher on my s9+. Where it makes it feel a little more stock, it was a very short lived thing before I realised I own a dumdum again. Dumdum = Samsung.

Roll on Friday :D

Second day in and the battery life seems really good. As for the audio quality on this. It's absolutely amazing. It even has an option to upscale digital music to near HQ audio.

Here's to the Xz2... I'm slowly adapting to the slightly smaller screen too.

Quick update on this.
The battery life went extremely shocking and I just couldn't get past what felt like a 2016 look and feel of the device. So I exchanged for the p20 pro. Which I've now had for a few days. It's just as quick as the xz2... The camera seems amazing. Emui is a bit of a mess, but the phone is definitely quirky enough.
Install nova launcher and the phone feels much more grown up.

I'm the wrong person to ask mate. I returned mine for the P20 Pro...

HTC one? Do you mean the HTC u12+? You'll struggle to get one on contract.

The pixel 3 XL is out very soon, maybe worth waiting for that.
