Hopefully Mahomes's injury is not too serious.I get that it was a freak accident but Reid calling a qb sneak when Mahomes was already sporting an ankle injury was just reckless.

Now if Mahomes's injury is serious and he misses more than 3 wks (which is what the early report is) then the AFC got whole lot easier for the Pats, and the NFL as a whole just got more boring.

It is a blow for the nfl..but deshaun Watson and the Texans look good.the ravens qb looks fun..the 49ers are a good story but NFC of course. The browns are headed for 8 - 8 at best . The pats schedule gets much harder from week 8 but they'd only have to win 4 more games anyway so yeah I'm clutching at straws

Yeah Deshaun Watson is good (you could say he's arguably the MVP favorite behind Russell Wilson),I just have no faith in O'Brian. Their defense has also not been the same since Clowney left. The Ravens I would give another season before we can see their potential, as they have a lot of rookies/2nd-year players playing on offense. The defense is probably their biggest concern as the are struggling to generate pressure.

I'd say the Pats have 'tough' matchup against the Jets on Monday night (maybe more so than their next game against the Browns)Darnold had looked really good during the preseason and played well in week 1 before going down with mono and played well in his return against the Cowboys last Sunday. Pat's should win but I don't think it will be a blow out.

I was watching the game and when I didn't see him hop up I knew something was wrong and my heart sank. Then as I was watching I see the training staff pop the knee cap back from where it was on the side of his leg and I saw enough. The game was looking like a get well game as it turned out that it was. But this is a high cost for any team to loose their QB like that. Their D was looking 10 times better than the past few weeks.

They have reported that Mahomes was practicing limited this week. Boy it must be nice to be young. My guess is still that he will be out until after their bye.

Chargers, NFL reportedly considering relocating franchise to London on permanent basis amid L.A. failures

But concern is growing among NFL owners as it relates to the Chargers' viability in the market. Simply put, the Chargers' move from San Diego to L.A. has been a disaster. They were good last year, but their home games turn into a bandbox dance party for opposing teams. The Sunday night prime-time matchup between the Chargers and Steelers in Week 6 this season was utterly embarrassing for the home team.

Kinda hard to actually see this happening(I would imagine it would be difficult signing FA) , but it's pretty clear that it's in the franchise'S best interest to leave LA. If London is ruled out I wonder if St Louis is an option?

I'd actually be interested to know, does anyone else make a bit of a link to a team that has their star fantasy player on? It can cause me issues some times (mind you, I just don't draft Cowboys... ever...) like I have a photo of me in an Eagles McNabb shirt somewhere. (sc00bs will remember what McNabb and Owens did for me ;) )

Last year I thought Lamar Jackson was a flash in the pan, one dimensional QB that D's would work out this year and shut down. And now I'm here...

To be honest, it's come at just the right time for a Redskins fan. Even though we've had a couple of winning seasons, I feel like we've been rubbish for 15 to 20 years now. I'm glad I experienced our two Superbowl wins, the first is a night I will remember forever. In fact that whole playoff run was amazing. I still remember listening on armed forces radio to Darrel Green run that punt back, injured, against the Bears. I thought we had a glimmer of hope with RG3, but Shanahan basically broke him by keeping him in against Seattle when he was clearly injured. Then I had hope with Cousins (who I always thought looked our better bet) but the ownership clearly didn't want him... and I'm just at the end of my tether. I feel I need someone in with a chance of being good to pull for. I don't think I can turn my back on the Skins, how can I after 30+ years of pulling for them, but I just want a team I can cheer for with the hope of some post season action!

I'm quite impressed with the shirt itself for £29.

I took a chance on some unheard of site (eCrater). The store (caisehose) on there is Chinese I think so it took a couple of weeks to come, but looks to be a genuine NFL shirt.

As for this evening, the first game looks a little dull, but I guess could be quite close, pending the Bears Offence I guess. I'm really looking forward to Bills v Cowboys though. Any half decent team the Bills have faced though, they've lost, so not sure how it will go.
